Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Color" Challenge

Kristi Schurr
For this week's color challenge, Kristi's  Halloween card is chock full of items from The Kraft Outlet! She was able to literally interpret the picture part of the challenge by using a sticker from Tim Holtz's Seasonal Salvage Stickers. The first step in building her card is to start with a base made from Brown Kraft Cover Weight Card Stock. After layering on the patterned papers as shown, she built her focal point by layering a Burlap Rectangle under a label die cut from Chalkboard Stock and then the cute pumpkin sticker mentioned above. After adhering it to the right top of the card, Kristi then added a black and orange seam binding bow to the left side. She accented the bigger bow with a smaller one made from Black Chevron Twill Tape and some button strung with orange hemp cord from the Brights Hemp Cord pack and black from the Earthy Hemp Cord Pack. The Halloween sentiment sticker was placed along the bottom and is also from The Seasonal Salvage Stickers collection.

Debbie Marcinkiewicz
For today's color inspiration challenge #143 at The Kraft Journal, Debbie began with a base of Brown Kraft Cardstock which she layered onto a pumpkin shaped card template and hand cut.  Next she cut the decorative layers for the top of the pumpkins using various patterned papers and Vintage Dictionary Pages.  After adhering the decorative layers, Debbie cut burlap stems for the pumpkins using Burlap Tags.  To create the leaf nosegay, Deb added glittered leaves she hand cut, Tiny Wooden Green Clothespins and Bright Green Hemp Cording.  Last, Debbie added a glittered pumpkin sticker and gave him a sweet sentiment stamped onto a Grungy Prim Tag using the Too Cute To Spook stamp set from Paper Sweeties and then secured on a Memo Pin.  Please visit Debbie's blog to view additional pictures of today's project!
Jessica Esch
For this week's color challenge, Jessica used both the colors and the picture of the pumpkins to make this adorable Pumpkin Spice Creamer gift set. She used several products from The Kraft Outlet for her homemade project. She started out her card using a piece of Brown Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock and added her layers of pattern paper using Simple Stories~ Take a Hike paper pack. After adding her signature machine stitching border, she wrapped some Kraft Wraphia Ribbon around the mat and tied it in a simple knot. Then using a White X-Small Tag and some Chit Chat Seasonal Word Stickers added "trick or treat" to the tag.  Jessica then went ahead and using some Brown Earthy Hemp Cord and tied the tag to the Kraft Wrapia Ribbon. Then to finish up her card, Jessica die cut a scalloped circle using the Brown Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock and stamped her cute pumpkin on white cardstock for the center of the scallop.
To match Jessica's card, she made this beautiful decorated mason jar filled with her Pumpkin Spice Creamer. She used the same Brown Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock  and designer papers, wrapped more of the Kraft Wrapia Ribbon around the lid of the jar and made a matching pumpkin tag that she tied onto the jar using some of the Brown Earthy Hemp Cord.

Tammy Hobbs
For today's Color Challenge, Tammy adores the blue pumpkins you see this time of year, so she decided to use that as her starting point by stamping a pumpkin image onto Medium Weight Kraft cardstock with blue ink. She placed the pumpkin image and sentiment inside an oval cut from Buff Ivory Cover Weight cardstock. She covered her card base with a beautiful piece of fall patterned paper and C-Flute Corrugated Kraft Paper which she painted with a vintage white paint and added a touch of chunky glitter. Next she ruffled some Natural Twill Tape above the Corrugated Kraft Paper. A double bow was created from gingham ribbon and embellished with a button and bow made from Orange and White Baker's Twine sneaking in a few paper fall leaves for further embellishing. Lastly she added her oval focal image and anchored it down with buttons laced with Natural Hemp Twine. Please view Tammy's blog, Creating Somewhere Under The Sun to view additional pictures and information regarding today's card.
